Our starting point is the parish church of Saint-Joseph-de-Lanoraie, a few miles east of Montreal, on the banks of the St. Lawrence River near the place where St. Isaac Jogues was captured (the first time) in 1642.
The first day we walk 42 km, mainly along the river, with Mass at Sainte-Genevieve-de-Berthier, to the town of Maskinonge.
The second day takes us 37 km  through Louiseville and Yamachiche, where we celebrate Mass in the church dedicated to Saint Anne, to camp beside the church of Notre Dame de la Visitation in Pointe-du-Lac.
The third day we return to the river and walk 25 km through Trois-Rivieres, where we celebrate Mass in the church of Sainte-Cecile, to Cap-de-la-Madeleine, arriving in the afternoon to offer prayers in the small shrine of 1714 dedicated to Our Lady of the Cape, Queen of the Holy Rosary and Patroness and Protectress of Canada.

“Wearing her crown of glory, Our Lady of the Cape is setting forth to conquer all hearts. Intende, prospere, procede, et regna. O Virgin of the Cape, we are going to see you, crowned like a queen, going forth to conquer the whole nation. Intende, prospere, et regna, and lead the whole country to your feet.”
